KAYE SERA is an award winning, multi-talented singer, writer and media personality known for her radio work on JOY (94.9FM) and popular cabaret shows. She has also appeared on Bent TV (Channel 31) and on many drag stages around town - but don’t hold that against her.
KAYE SERA'S cabaret act has been a popular addition to Midsumma and other Melbourne Festivals for the better part of a decade. Shows include Camping Out, The Full Lube Job, The Butt Plug Cabaret, Kabaresque, Beyond The Buggery Belt, Dragging The Beat and The Naked Drag Queen. Kaye is one of the few Australian drag performers to sing live and has a loyal fan base through her cabaret and other stage work.
KAYE SERA is the recipient of the 2001 Pride Award for Entertainer of the Year and the 2004 Rainbow Award for Outstanding Media Achievement. She is high commended for her countless number of community and fundraising events.
KAYE SERA has also performed with Luke Gallagher and Adrian Kirk as a popular cabaret trio. Their shows include Harder, Longer, Faster, The Grass Roots Tour, Share and Cher Alike, Hey Fancy Pants and Naughty Little Show Tunes (with Peter Hurley).
KAYE SERA is managed by DAREN POPE a prolific writer, performer and broadcaster. Strangely the two are never seen in the same room at the same time.
